Gender-critical feminist: I care about the rights and safety of women, so if you disagree with me, you must be a misogynist. Trans activist: I care about the rights and safety of trans people so if you disagree with me, you are a transphobe. This is an abject failure of ideological theory of mind.

It’s not so simple. Trans Rights Activisits TRAs do often actively work against feminist goals for equality of women. It might not be based in “hatred” but simple misguided intentions. TRAs often try to support sexist stereotypes that “gender critical” feminists call out for being another tool of oppression and patriarchy.
