I am gender critical because I'm a radical feminist, not the other way around. This is an important distinction by penelopekitty in FemaleDefenseStrategy

I think a lot of women are tired. Tired of being sensitive to other's feelings e.g. Ovarit where you can't say tranny or r/FDS (RIP) where lesbians can't discuss a huge issue in their dating scene to uphold preddit's less than savory social leanings. On top of that, women have no firm political party where are rights are understood and guaranteed. Many of us feel abandoned and exhausted - I know I do on any given day. It's difficult to organize and have a cohesive message when the already small radfem community is fractured into different corners of the internet with their own rules for communicating.

I hope this space can grow and be a free forum for women to discuss and dissect from a radfem perspective.

All those wasted years we can never get back. It's never worth your time or energy to explain to a grown adult how to communicate and how to problem solve. Always walk away.

Surprisingly though there is an awful lot of disenchantment and bitterness around motherhood. Just take a look at the breakingmom sub on reddit or any discussion about motherhood that comes up on a feminist or feminist adjacent space.

My bet is that a lot of women enter marriage and parenthood with rose-tinted glasses. They think that their scrote will somehow grow up and realize the importance of maintaining a clean home and start picking up the slack in terms of laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and the millions of other little things that have to be done to keep a well-maintained home and life afloat. The bitterness comes from mom not having a clean shirt to wear after the baby vomits on her third shirt of the day because laundry hasn't been done in weeks, all the baby bottles are in the sink awaiting the dishwasher, and mom hasn't had a full 8 hours of sleep in months while scrote sleeps undisturbed every night because he doesn't have breasts. Child birth and rearing is inherently disadvantageous to women.

I recently stated on a feminist forum that becoming a SAHM was a financially risky and precarious decision. I was downvoted and castigated for stating a well know fact.

Being a SAHM should never be something a woman aspires to. Men are too fickle and unreliable and any woman who has given that situation an iota of honest thought would recognize that having her own means to financial stability is paramount to her survival. There's no free lunch. None of this is to say that women shouldn't stay home with children, obviously, but be aware of the consequences to earning and career potential.

Luckily the birth rate is declining for numerous reasons, and we should be thanking our lucky stars we have access to education and our own bank accounts so we're not reliant on a moid for food and shelter.

I can't even count the number of times I've experienced this. My god the years of my youth wasted on trying to communicate with men. If only I had known then what I know now.

Hi, welcome to SaidIt!

Have you and the other mod considered asking u/magnora7 if you can take over s/FemaleDatingStrategy also?

Original creator of that sub deleted their account, and intended to actually delete the sub (which can't be done, of course) ... so the sub is just sitting there inactive now.
