I'd care more perhaps if the recent content coming out id Hollywood wasn't by and large crap.

Yeah like apart from the sheer novelty of some of the crazy bullshit AI can put out (which becomes less crazy and less interesting the more it's developed) there is basically no reason to be worried about AI. Like it just makes bland predictable utterly worthless stuff. Good for like, if you want to let it do crazy random shit for your DND campaign. Not so much if you want to use it to write the script for your show.

Nobody is gonna want to watch shows written by computers. They just won't bother with them. But if the stuff written by the writers isn't any better, it's not at all a case of AI surpassing the humans, it's the humans doing a shit job of it.

Is it that hard to write something that doesn't feel like it's entire structure was made by a focus group?

Nobody wants to watch what they’re doing now. So I could care less whether the next set of generic action movies and tv shows are written by AI, Hollywood or monkeys. They’re smearing shit on the walls of stories people loved and telling us we’re uncultured for not loving the resulting mess.

Fuck the entertainment business. They're all a bunch of phonies. Just listen to their speeches during the self inflated ego fest that is the Oscar awards. Not only that but they reserve the right to dictate to the rest of the population what's right-think and cancel anyone who dares disagree or question their agenda.
