That's what I don't get about Disney. They have the money and the resources to make great, original content, but they choose lame, live-action bs instead. Who wants to see some bad CGI and woke bullshit when you can just go watch the beautiful 1937 version of a beloved fairy tale? Also, if Disney made some woke version of any folk tale other than white or ethnically European, people would lose their mind. "Disney is racist!"

Disney worked out their contracts meant that they didn't have to pay royalties to the writers to remake their animated films.
It's just pure greed.
