Europeans finally feel the pinch of their elected leaders' retarded over-reliance on unreliable energy sources. Utility bills 4x, 10x higher than last year. Businesses are closing and people *will* be freezing to death this winter.

It's more because they pay every energy producer the same price no matter what their costs are and the price is set at the rate the most expensive producer needs to keep open. This system was set up because energy is a necessity and governments were terrified that power plants would go bust under a free market so they created a fake market instead.

It's crazy, if electricity from gas powered stations is now $200 to produce they pay that for all energy even though the others only cost $60. There are a lot of people making a lot of money out of this set up while others suffer. Green companies and rich landowners are syphoning money off of the poor into their pockets.
