Im really happy I chose to buy a house instead of go to college, I actually went to college a few years later with my employer sponsoring my education however when I looked into it at first most universities just seemed like degree-mills to me.
Like the guidance counsellors and uni people I spoke to would never give me a straight answer when I asked what a degree would correlate to in terms of career and expected income, If I cant say that degreeX costs $60,000 and will return me $100,000 a year with certainty then I am wasting my money.
