I foresee another Enron sort of fiasco on the horizon, replete with similar rolling blackouts, disappeared wealth, scandal, and etc. I'd guess sometime between this coming summer and next summer. Probably sooner than later. Texas power outage was just a preview. Now is the time to switch your heating and air conditioning to non-electric power, if you live where heatwaves or freezing temperatures are possible. At the least, install solar panels and have a wood burning stove as emergency backup. Full-on conversion to gas or heating oil is better.
