Break down of the video for anyone interested, because I know a lot of people don't want to watch the video and I don't blame them:

start to 6:00 - he is driving his car, guns sitting in the passenger seat

6:15 - grabs guns from trunk, begins to walk inside

6:35 - walks up to entrance, shoots first person in doorway without any hesitation

7:04 - rapid firing at everyone, approx 15 dead at this point, walking through main hallway

7:05 - one guy tries to actually stop him, bare handed and is shot point-blank

7:30 - reloads for the 3rd time, but walks backward to pick up a magazine he apparently dropped on the ground and uses it to reload

7:50 - gun jams, he clears the jam and reloads, then continues to fire at the unmoving piles of bodies already on the ground, now totaling about 30 people. No one alive is visible, blood is clearly pooling under some of them and the bodies are obviously getting hit by bullets

8:45 - he runs out of the mosque, out of targets to shoot, apparently

9:00 - he gets out to the sidewalk where his hatchback is parked in an alleyway. He fires down both sidewalk directions, but there doesn't seem to be anyone there.

9:21 - he gets back to his car, puts the gun he was using in the trunk, grabs another gun that looks very similar. Then grabs a red gasoline can but almost immediately sets it back down. The bags the guns are covered by all say "Proudly Kiwi" and look new. The guns all have words written all over them in white dry-erase

9:50 - he begins pacing up and down the sidewalk, looking for targets, but not seeing any. He's just kind of blindly shooting at very distant targets down the sidewalk but I don't actually see anyone.

10:10 - he says "[something] get the bird these days, boys" then fires more shots down some alleyways connected to the sidewalk, at nothing

10:20 - he re-enters the mosque. The bodies have leaked a lot of blood, no one is moving except immediately after being shot, he shoots almost every single body at least one more time, one by one.

11:52 - he runs back out to the sidewalk. The woman he shot in the street earlier is screaming "help me" over and over, he shoots her twice and they very obviously connect (definitely not blanks)

12:17 - gets back in the car, driving over the woman he just shot to pull out of the alleyway

12:35 - he says something to the livestream, laughs comfortably, and begins to add the next mosque's location in his GPS mounted to his windshield as he drives

12:50 - while driving, he pulls out a shotgun and shoots through the front windshield twice, but the windshield does not break or get a hole in it? I am particularly confused about this moment

13:14 - he then again reloads the shotgun, and fires directly in to his own front windshield, at other cars on the road parked on the side of the road that do not appear to have people in them. But the shotgun is clearly detonating, so I do not understand why the window is not breaking and no bullets seem to be coming out. Shotgun blanks? I think even blanks would break a window though when the end of the muzzle is literally touching the window and he fires 4 separate times and the gun clearly goes off.

13:18 - Then without putting in more shells, he stops the car, turns his body and shoots the shotgun out the passenger side window. The whole side window explodes, as you'd expect the front windshield to have done. Then he takes a shot at seeming nothing through the broken window, but he's out of ammo and it clicks empty. He puts down the gun on the passenger seat and resumes driving.

13:49 - he adjusts the car radio?

14:09 - stops for pedestrians, then honks when they're taking too long

14:20 - says "they've got that instantly" or something and laughs and then says something like like "tension and ease of access, if you give people easy access you can't fuck yourself" in a very lighthearted tone. I can't really understand what he is saying.

14:45 - says something like "It's time for a funeral" "Shit happens" "There were so many people parked at the carpark there" and a few other things. Then he just keeps driving and talking to himself while peppy techno music plays in the background.

Video ends at 16:55. No indication he ended it intentionally, it just abruptly cuts off.

Thanks for the write up! The part where he shoots the shotgun through the front windshield, whats happening is that the shot or the slug, whichever he has in there, are punching right through the glass. The whole windshield doesn't blow out like the side window bc windshields are just tough like that.

There will be good and bad, but this video honestly highlights the value of saidit and the freedom of information that this site allows for and that's an attractive thing to a lot of genuine truth-seekers. I won't mind having more of those type of people on saidit :)

    Just know that uploading (but not downloading) torrents is one way ISPs can flag your IP address for "illegally hosting content" and other stuff like that. I think the dtube link is safer tbh.

      Vpns can often be honeypots, you're still going through a chokepoint that someone else controls.

      Also using a vpn highlights you as a person who has something to hide so they might look more closely at your activity if the vpn is compromised.

      It's probably not, but I just wanted to say that so everyone is aware of this possibility

      So at 13:14, after the shooting is over, he is driving and shoots his own front windshield 3 times with a shotgun and it does not break. But then shoots the side window and it explodes. Can anyone explain this?

      The only thing i can think of, (not being a gun user) is that having the nozzle (or whatever it's called) right against the glass like that makes it impossible for the bullet to gain any "play" against the slick surface of the glass? I only say such a silly thing bc the bullets, if iirc, kind if slide along the surface and drop to the dash (I might have to watch again.)

      Gun people, would you need an inch or two for the bullets to have enough momentum to be able to pierce the glass?

      But the pellets (shotguns shoot like 100 BBs all at once called a shell cartridge, rather than a bullet) have already travelled the full length of the barrel of the gun, so they're already at max speed.

      I guess it's possible the shallow angle of the front window caused them to bounce and reflect downward in to the dashboard... but seems very weird and unlikely. And probably would've also maybe messed up the electronics in his dashboard to take several gun shots like that. I don't even see what he was shooting at. Just seems weird.

      That's even a small handgun, a shotgun is more powerful than that.

      Maybe the guy had a bulletproof front windshield installed and was shooting it for "fun" out of impatience. But it did seem like was trying to aim at something when he shot.

      They're both designed not to break. Since the side window was all together when the shotgun hit it, it was more likely to distribute the force. The front windshield is thicker too if that changes anything.

      I just kind of have a hard time believing a shotgun doesn't damage it at all... but I guess it's possible. And I guess the low quality of the video may make it harder to see any cracks that did develop.

      To me the difference is that the officer is shooting at the part of the windscreen that is less angled, and has about four inches of space before the bullet makes impact.

      NZ bozo has the gun right against the glass, at the bottom where the screen is at the most acute angle. I dunno. The physics of firearms is not my area of expertise.

      The guy seems highly trained (and on major roids) and I almost wonder if he was doing that as a game? Like knowing it wouldn't shatter, and "shooting" at people like you might "squeeze their tiny head"?

      I'm no expert but I know a fair deal, and it just doesn't make up the difference to me.

      I have come to believe it punched holes in the glass, like in the cop video. And the holes are just too small and poorly-defined to see in the low-quality video. That's what I've decided makes the most sense, until I see any info that contradicts that

      That cloudiness on the bottom of the windscreen--can you tell if it is powder/smoke residue or crazing of the glass? As someone who has only shot guns at bottles in the distance, I can't tell what's going on in the video.

      Ok I watched that part like 5 more times.

      I think maybe his gun misfired? After the first two cartridges it seems like they jammed, he actually pulls a cartridge out of the gun by hand instead of ejecting it, which is odd. Then I noticed after the 3rd shot at the windshield I think it actually did fracture the glass in a rough circle shape right at the bottom, it turns frosty-looking in a small spot only after that 3rd shot. Then he immediately decides to instead aim at a side-window instead, seeing the damage and how it didn't go through.

      I'm going with 2 misfires, followed by a 3rd real shot, that only fractured the windshield in that one tiny spot.

      This is late, but I just made an account. Every round the shooter actually fired, which you can tell from the noise, went through the windshield. It's just hard to see in 240p and since the first holes are so low that from the camera's perspective they are a similar color to the hood. The gun jammed because the shooter is pumping in a confined space, so he didn't pump hard enough to fully chamber a cartridge. Also, the front windshield and side window are not the exact same glass. They are both tempered glass, but the front windshield is laminated which is why it doesn't shatter.

      they are made differently, the manufacturing, tempering is not the same. i think there is a foil in the ws that holds it all together

      Well the 2nd mosque shootign seems so staged. There's two videos out there of the aftermath. And some pretty terrible actors. They all are looking at there phones waiting for cues. It's honestly really bad.

      At the first mosque shooting, no doubt it looks very real, and I think it is. But I'm conflicted because of how fake the aftermath of the 2nd one is.

      And also, some of the gun's shooting characteristics are very different than a standard AR-15. Something is off about the gun. When he shot the lady in teh head on the side walk, it was gut turning but as I kept watching it I noticed her arm exploded, yet the gun wasn't even aimed at her arm. Watch it again and you'll notice many oddities.

      My first post here since joining from Reddit. Very Happy to find an open forum for discussion about whatever topics arise. I've watched the video, (not this one in particular but another) Its incredibly brutal, especislly where he shoots the piles of bodies from point blank. I didn't notice on the first watch but my old man put me onto some conspiracy theories about it and I gotta say I don't know what to believe here. The guy in the entry way who is one of the first ones killed....he's in bare feet as the gunmen steps over his body to enter the main part of the mosque....and when he leaves the same man has clearly got bright blue socks or shoes on. Has anyone elss noticed this? Can someone please explain this to me?

      I just watched the whole streamed video not an hour ago, the shooter left because there wasn't a soul moving any longer in the building. In fact, the guy took the time to shoot a chick near his car; so where, and when did this brave soul 'chase the guy out of the mosque, and shattered his window with a rock?'

      It really seemed like he had all the time in the world in fact, was this 'hero' even there?
