Yale under federal investigation for discrimination against men in several programs

Just a day after Justice filed suit against Yale for discriminating against white and Asian applicants, Education notified the professor who filed a complaint against Yale that it had opened an investigation.

University of Michigan-Flint economist Mark Perry forwarded The College Fix the letter he received from the department’s Office for Civil Rights in Boston Tuesday. He had cited four programs in the School of Management that only accept women, three of which have “Women’s Leadership” in the name (the fourth is titled “Women on Boards”).

The department will investigate whether these programs discriminate against men by excluding them from applying, it told Perry, who regularly files Title IX complaints against education programs across the country.
