I definitely felt useless until about that age. Totally ignored by women, treated like garbage and tossed aside. You are useless if you don't have a lot of money. Now that I have some income and I'm in my 40s, women my own age are literally fighting over me. They are on their way downhill in market value, and I am on my way up.
