An elderly friend almost fell for this years ago. This was well before AI, but the voice on the other end just happened to sound a lot like her grandson. After she panicked for a bit, she thought about it and asked him what nickname he had called her as a child. He didn't know, so she hung up. In general, ask a question that the purported victim would know, but that a scammer would not.
