Ah, you are a purist I see and that is fine. Yes, that linked episode is good. It seems to be influenced by Matsumoto Leiji and Daft Punk's Interstella 5555, a movie-length feature without one word of dialogue. I guess you've seen that, a classic. Me, I just want escape and entertainment. The nude scenes of Motoko and Esaki in the new series, and the linked intro, get me all warm and fuzzy. There are so many versions out there now. I will watch the version you linked but it's all good. Again, I do understand your POV. Thanks.

In art, preference is not an absolute truth, but certain aspects such as degeneracy and purposeful lack of thought and emotion are absolute truths that can be used to say that certain art should not be.
