Jesus told his disciples that the eyes of those that saw the prophecies unfold were blessed. The Messiah of Israel was there! In another place, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe." That's those of us today that believe in Jesus as our Messiah even though we do not remember seeing him when he walked on earth. But we also are seeing the prophecies of old unfold in this generation! There could be a double blessing here.

  1. We are seeing old prophecies unfold, which previous prophets wanted to see but didn't.

  2. We believe in Jesus even though we do not remember seeing him walk on earth.

A blessing for seeing and a blessing for not seeing, yet believing!
