so Jesus is God. Is Jesus the son of God? It is double think they used to get people to believe things that are obviously not true, if you control a mind you control the person 100%. The early christian community did not believe Jesus was god. The word christ, or messiah, meant savior. Catholics made up the trinity years late at the council of nicea. There was much controversy over this.

It's like if jews said Moses was god, or if muslims said Mohhamad was Allah.

Jesus is God and the son of God yes. It's not double think, it just is. God is a divine being after all.

Where is your evidence that early Christians did not believe Jesus was God? https://www.michaeljkruger.com/did-the-earliest-christians-really-think-jesus-was-god-one-important-example/

But Jews didn't say Moses was God, neither did Muslims say Mohhamad was Allah.

Yeah they didn't say that cuz it made no sense. Before nicea it was up for debate. Arianism disagreed. For examples the latter day saints and Jehovah's Witnesses disagree on that today. But maybe this should be discussed on the catholicism sub and not this one. You're catholic correct?
