I mean if China want to fight racism they shouldn't be researching methods of making Chinese people who all look the same.

Why the he'll would China want to fight racism? I honestly can't think of anyone who genuinely wants to fight racism. In the west anti racism is just code for anti white. While in the east they are homogenous enough to not have racial conflict, and when they do (like the uygers) literally no one cares when they are genocided.
