It's not like we blue eyed people can swap out a pair of brown eyes and verify this statement. I do know I need sunglasses more in the winter than the rest of the year.

I'm blue-green. This came up in another thread here. I have literally gone temporarily blind from just the morning Canadian sun when visiting, and being on the water -- that one lasted a whole day. I don't hear about that happening to anyone else though, not even to fair eyed people.
