Despite attending college for four years, I've only met one openly bisexual person that I can remember. I got to be mildly good friends with her, and she broke the stereotypes. She was a rather soft-spoken bookworm who, AFAIK, was actually one of the few people in the friend group that stayed away from all forms of drugs, and I never got the impression that she was sleeping around at all.

Unfortunately, I think the stereotypes will persist for a long time because the more normal bisexuals just fly under the radar and are assumed to be straight.

I guess a total of 6 people I knew/know that were bisexual with only 2 of them being men.

Just so you know, 2 out of 6 isn't a statistically significant deviation from an even split.
