I curled the ends of my stache when it was longer and it didn't look half bad. Younger me would've never entertained that style.

I just trim along the edge of my upper lip. I choose function over form for this one.

I haven't trimmed the stache in a long while! I'm trying to grow a really thick one and it's always been pretty thin unfortunately, from this angle it looks denser than it actually is. I'm really bad when it comes to styling my mustache, I used to just trim it in a straight line with a trimmer but realized it was the complete opposite as to what I wanted.

It definitely is. I have a Stalin-stache, and unless you do the head tilt, it soaks up everything when it's unwaxed.

Subscribed. Beard wearers unite! I'd trim the moustache if I were him otherwise it's a beer sponge.

Nah it ain't me but I think he's pretty dashing ;D I was at a local bar earlier today and there's always this guy there that likes to call me a viking. My beard is short within the beard-sphere but outsiders seem to think it's huge. You should think about sharing your beard on here man, blur out the face and what not if you're concerned about privacy. You have an epic beard. There only seems to be about 3 of us who partake in this subsaidit anyways lol

It looks like you.

I'm no Shakespeare, but people still call me The Beard.

There's no fucking way I'm spending more than 10 seconds on my beard every day. If I were young and after the ladies, maybe. I used to carve elaborate facial hair stuff before it got more mainstream.

The routine only takes 10 minutes a day, trimming can be done every so often and the heated brush only twice a week if you really want it looking sharp.

Too much work.

My beard is 100% natural and 99% maintenance free.

It might be a different story if I was still in the market for a nice woman.

I wouldn't mind a bit of mustache wax to maintain symmetry.

I didn't know about any of this besides the beard oil. I had wondered how people get theirs so uniform looking.

I'm glad you even you use that, most dudes don't even realize they should use beard oil lol. Making a beard look uniform and suitable for photos is a pain in the ass to be honest, my beard hair is realllly stubborn even after using wax so I have to use a heated brush as well as making sure to regularly trim it otherwise it just does it's own thing. I'll be honest and say my beard rarely looks suitable and "smart" unless I have an important day for something. I mean I always use balm and oil, but rarely use heat treatment or wax out of laziness.

I'd to add that "beard oil," and I assume other beard products, are marked up like crazy. I use a jojoba/argan oil that's not sold for beards and it's a lot cheaper.

100%, and thanks for reminding me to add argan oil to the list of alternatives! Bulldog make a really affordable beard oil that's all-natural as well. I also use their beard balm which is also budget friendly. When I run out of their beard oil I'll probably switch to argan or jojoba. There's a lot of overpriced shite in this industry, I mean even beard wax is getting pretty pricey. I bought a Seven Potions Woodland Harmony beard wax, it was like $20 for 30ml. I feel like men's grooming products are going to go up in price little by little, since it's kind of a new thing. Like women's beauty products, I feel like men's products are starting to be geared towards a similar thing now. Untapped market to manipulate a bunch of men into buying overpriced shite lol.
