Legally? Yes, unless it directly hurts people (abortion, child genital mutilation in all it's forms.)

Socially? Absolutely not. We need to tell degenerates that their behavior is bad and they need to cut it out.

Yes, I meant socially, not by law. I don't think modern people realize just how common STD's were back in the day. And I don't even mean 200+ years ago; I mean the 80s. The main reason why being a sexual degenerate is shamed in society though, is because it literally hurts society. No children, no families, STD's everywhere, depression, poor health, mental illness, etc. As I said, I absolutely cannot respect anyone that absolutely disgusting and open about it to the point they have no self-respect or dignity whatsoever. At the very least, do that shit behind closed doors.

I don't think that's good reason to shame it. I think it should be shamed because it is sick and unnatural behavior voluntarily chosen and it also has absolutely horrible consequences for individuals.

I guess I just care more about the individual side of things than the societal side. That being said, I DO care about both.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Both the individual and everyone around them. Same goes for any vice; promiscuity, alcoholism, gambling, drug addiction, etc. It's destructive behavior. In addition to being nauseating and sick.
