Turns out we dodged a MAJOR bullet. I think positive prayer and thought helped as we got to 120F and our outside thermometer got to 127F but not only no wildfires but the grid held! Only 3,000 lost power at Portland on the first day and were quickly restored. I think the ice storm gave us a 'new' grid they hardened this time as I can't see how else our grid stayed working due to temps we never EVER even come close too!

107F was from 1981 when there were FAR less people to tap into our grid. Water usage though was at a record high then in 1981. This week we broke records three times!
