I just notice that people are a lot nicer on here. I guarantee that if hard core lefties posted their opinions on here, they would not be met with anywhere NEAR the same level of malice that right wingers are met with on reddit.

Regardless, I am beginning to post more in non-political subs.

Leftists want me censored, bankrupted, murdered and my kids raped. I can't promise to be nice to them when they threaten my existence.

I've seen some lefties (even hardcore lefties) who quit Reddit precisely because they are ashamed to have their ideas associated with cancel culture.

I guess it depends on how we define leftism but even then if they support the same policies their intentions don't matter to me in this climate.

White people are getting genocided, hunted down, silenced, jailed, lawfared etc. so anyone who is okay with the current situation and does not actively oppose those issues is not someone I can easily discuss civilized with.
