Clarification: connecting to irc.antiextremes.com with your own chat client is coming soon. We'll get there.

It's a top priority... give us a week or so. We don't want to have a watered down chat experience.

Hey d3rr, I seem to be unable to log in to the lounge, is it working for you?

edit: It seems to work with my other accounts. Does the "reset password" button work yet in preferences? I'm not trying it until you tell me it's okay

Yep, still working for me.

reset password won't work unless you also change the username. alternatively it is safe to delete all chat accounts, they will seamlessly be recreated. that's rm -f ~/.lounge/users/*

My update which still isn't posted simplifies this bit.
