Because you've told you're cabal that your ethnic group is the original race, and the chosen by God. Any other more ancient and more advanced civilization undermines the hoax of the cabal.

Especially, the main members who actually believe their crazy prophecy(s). Cause if it's proven to be fake, then it all falls apart.

Aliens, are a hoax that the cabal is in on, so it's controlled by the cabal. Not a threat.

I agree 100% if you're saying what I think you are.

You're saying that the "more advanced aliens" would undermine "their" supremacy as "God's chosen ones" etc etc (I assume you mean hebrews, but this works equally as well for any religious extremism) - and thus it's not the play they will take. I agree!

Along this vein - an "alien invasion" would have to be purely of "destruction" - and "defeated" in a "War of the Worlds" kind of sense - (my guess would be by one of the two religions that propound alien knowledge - to set themselves up as one world religion would be the "saviors".)

But even that is relatively complicated and involves the wasting of resources, land - infrastructure - essentially - it ruins a bunch of the big-kids lego pieces!!

I don't think they want to get rid of us - there are a billion ways they could have done that already... I feel like they want us alive and functioning (to a certain limit obviously) and feeding and building their monstrosity.

Following that thought, then yes, the "ancient civilization" "green beam" idea would be far more likely.

Not quite.

They'd be fine with the alien hoax, cause they are setting it up as a hoax. And the hoaxters all know about it.

I think that the ancient civilizations info is legit, but suppressed to keep the group unified in the current chosen-people belief.

If people discover that there have been previous iterations of advanced civilization then they will question the group unity, and try to determine the root-cause for the cataclysm to mitigate the catastrophe in the future.

A discovery like this could derail the plans of the elite, who always think that they'll escape in the end.

I don't think that ancient civilizations are hoaxes. The Sphinx was created before the end of the last ice age, and probably the pyramids, as well. We couldn't make them that precisely today, so the ancients were at least as capable as we. It's likely not a coincidence that the megafauna in the Americas died off at the same time (13000 years ago).
