What is the most sober, accurate account of what happened in the Holocaust? by quickthrowaway in debatealtright

Is there a general consensus about the holocaust among revisionists? It seems like when I look around, there's just a variety of questionings and doubts, but no official counter-narrative that is offered. It almost makes me doubt the Holocaust revisionists, although I don't doubt from all the other red-pills I've swallowed that things were exaggerated.

Do you think the lack of definite counter-narrative is evidence that people are being overly "denying" of the Holocaust? Or that it's just really hard to figure out what actually happened (because of the combination of censorship, and the fact that it's hard to figure out the truth of something from 75 years ago?)

So the plan was to win the war (defeating the Soviet Union and Britain), and then afterwards finalize their plan to move the Jews to a particular location (but they didn't know exactly where yet)?

What was the Germans' ultimate plan in putting the Jews in camps? What were they planning to do with the Jews if they won the war?

Thanks. I'll try to check some of that stuff out. Can I ask though, for your basic view? Just like a quick summary before I try to dive into all of the different sources. Basically, how many Jews died? Was there genocidal intent? How did it happen?

Although if you don't have the time to get into it I understand.

What happened with discord? I tried a quick search online and couldn't find anything.

Is it better to use a VPN or Tor? And, will they fully protect your information?

I often read stuff online that is like "there is no way to stay safe on the internet". It almost seems like a psyop to me, which is why I thought I'd be better asking in these circles.

•Don't you kind of have to trust certain places with private details? You at least have to give most websites an email address, although I suppose you could use a surrogate one. If you give an alternate email address, can you still be tracked using IP address or other means? I honestly don't know much about this stuff.

•That's a good idea not to use the same usernames across different places.

•What is a closed service?

With the new Apple thing, and them starting to slowly invade privacy through the excuse of c porn, I've gotten a bit paranoid.

I mean, are we safe using Apple notes, or Google Chrome, or Youtube comments? Will our search histories and comment histories soon be used against us?

Is there anything we can do to be a bit safer, just in case these companies turn on us?

Or, perhaps you make a comment somewhere and someone takes it upon themselves to hack your computer? I honestly don't know how easy or impossible this is to do.

Again, maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't think it's that crazy to want to find out more info.

Why have East Asian countries been 3rd world until recently, despite high IQ? by quickthrowaway in debatealtright

True. I think collectivist societies are better equipped to preserve their cultures. Although Japan is slowly ramping up immigration and giving up their culture... very sad.

Interesting. I've also heard Edward Dutton say that Islam tends to suppress IQ in favor of other desirable traits (I forget if it was group cohesion or something like that).

So that could help to explain lower IQs but higher GDPs for certain Middle Eastern countries.

I've seen Edward Dutton say something like: the European cultural strategy is to encourage individualism and creativity. So that you get lots of genius inventors, etc.

Not necessarily genetic (in terms of more high iq people) but a strategy that produces more innovators.
