Not only scientifically impossible but that reaction would not be proportionally reasonable considering how many regularly die from the flu.

Which, I may add, had vaccines made for it every single season for decades(that mostly didn't even prevent infection for those who took it). To this day though the number of new cases has never fallen anywhere close to zero. Because it's a disease that mutates fast- into many different variants that are resistant to the shot developed. It's a completely different sort of virus than those almost wiped out by vaccines; The ones people get immunized for as children and usually never need to again.

I think covid will also settle into being a permanently widespread endemic disease due to having very similar characteristics like this.
