I tend to agree with you and feel that’s already happening as more and more individual users train their own datasets.

I have come to similar conclusions. I am fascinated by this and the notion of the hegelian dialect ie McAffee/Microsoft being some of the world's largest supporters of malware/hacking expertise as a strategy to push product. I don't have all the technical insight but my gut feeling is that yes, SO much of this could be avoided but pressure from intelligence agencies keeps backdoor contracts and access open to these vectors.

Though, I can also understand how the advanced degrees of 5th G Warfare we are seeing now muddy the waters a bit esclating these topics far beyond the scope of private businesses. As nation states and rogue criminal orgs consolidate (through decentralized networks) it seems models like LockBit have free reign to terrorize. I am actually surprised cyber extortion is not more frequently linked to terrorism or prosecuted in that way.

Maybe I am missing details but I feel a few elements here dont add up.

Mexico allows tourists for up to 6 months at a time. That’s a nice long vacation then you come home for a week or two rinse and repeat.

That said, it’s very easy to get a visa if you want to stay long term. Japan looks amazing but is apparently not easy without the language and even then yes many will not like you or be very cold. I still really look forward to visiting

Vietnam and Thailand are also great choices imo
