/r/CringeAnarchy was the latest big victim of the banhammer. They wiped out the gorey and morbid subs and are now wiping the offensive ones. Even /r/waterniggas was banned because of it's offensive name and it's literally just a sub about drinking water.

The world of food stylists! These folks make a ton of money to prep the dish to look aesthetically appealing. Ice cream is mashed potato with food coloring, coffee steam is cigarette smoke, grill marks are painted on.

Photo or shooting sessions for ads can eat up time so the food won't end up looking consistently good. So they opt for stuff that looks the same for three hours without ever having to microwave or reheat it. Why not just use wax/plastic replicas? The law dictates that the actual product must still be advertised, but it doesn't mention anything about dolling it up a little.
