Yes this will be the one, there was an existing process in place since 2004 which is what the misleading claims refer to. Shows how little people are actually aware of what is going on. Note it’s only in Scotland which has devolved powers, the English version has been parked by the government (which apparently is ‘erasing’ or whatever trans people despite there already being a GRC in place).

So yes, it would allow that a male doesn’t have to undergo any sort of medical process, can just declare themselves a woman and force their way into women’s services and spaces. Because what does living as a woman mean? Wearing a dress and makeup - well that’s sexist as many women don’t do that? So how does one ‘live as a woman’ for this legal purpose?

Talking about grasping, most of the comments I’ve seen about why they won’t support the Guardian is because “they cost Jeremy Corbyn the election” , yeah no he did that himself along with his obsessive followers.
