I was talking to MossWolf about Hogwarts Legacy, and was thinking the old sub would've had a field day with the controversy going on.

I only check this place once every few months I think, and only out of curiosity.

Truthfully, I think this not being part of a site that I already use daily really killed whatever urges I might've once had. It was never that motivating in the first place, so to go out of my way for it is a bit much, you know?

There just doesn't seem to be that much to gain or to give out of it.

Yeahhh they know about it, I think most of them have just moved on as well.

I feel like I'd be more motivated if it was actually in my face more, but it never really shows up in my life unless I seek it out, so...for my life personally, it's really easy to make it an "out of sight, out of mind" sort of thing

But I do miss some of the peopleee and the discussionsss, from back in the dayyyy

I bet it would have become hella active during Covid if it hadn't been shut down, too

I can try to pop in occasionally =] I miss folks like you and a few others. I do still see Elly though! We hang out at least every Saturday night, pretty much, since they ended up in one of my social groups. MossWolf is also a close friend of mine that I talk to every day, anddddd oh god what was her name...there was one GC woman that I can't even remember her Reddit name anymore, but I'm still in the friend group IRL that she brought me into. And there's a handful of others I still talk to on Discord!

Man, when she first met me she was just like, YAY A WOMAN WITH SIMILAR INTERESTS, LET'S BE FRIENDS! But then I started catchin feels and she started describing her dream guy during a conversation one day and I was like HMM SOUNDS KINDA LIKE ME ACTUALLY, and then things spiraled wildly out of control from there. It's a whole story.

My dog Carson is good =] He's just a sleepy boi. I don't really post on Reddit anymore, I just browse and lurk on the more mainstream subreddits.

Hmmm gotcha gotcha. I've more or less just backed out of the scene entirely, and other than my recent dating experience I haven't usually given much thought to trans/GC stuff anymore.

Awww, I probably won't really start engaging the actual topics, tbh...I'm active on Discord, and occasionally chat in some debate-related servers, but only to socialize. I don't even know what I'd argue, looking at these topics...I was never very QT, but these days it's even more true. I'm even dating a straight woman, which I think is probably breaking a trans rule somewhere? Not full GC either though, so ¯\(ツ)/¯

Took a quick glance at Ovarit after seeing it mentioned here, but I'd assume that's not a debate space so much as a venting space?
