I never thought that the fabulous, fierce women pushing back on gender ideology were naive or prone to fads, but the constant retweeting of neo-conservative propagandists Masih Alinejad, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Bari Weiss, each softening us up for a US/Israel-pushed attack on Iran, or any other country that Israel wants out of the way, makes me rethink that assumption.

I get that very few lay people understand the nuances of global politics, whereas I spent years in the thick of it for my job.

I get that many if not most GC feminists are younger than I am, often considerably younger than I am, and do not remember all the other times the US (and other countries) have started a war under the partial justification that it would better the lot of the women of the country it was about to bomb to shreds (Afghanistan, Iraq, part of the propaganda before WW I...)

I understand that most GC feminists don't remember Iraq I, much less Vietnam. And most of you haven't been in a war, while I have, and the horrors of that, and other horrors meted out to women that I witnessed firsthand, have stayed with me to this day.

But can't these amazingly smart GC feminists figure out that the women of Iran have way bigger problems than being forced to wear fucking head scarves? US sanctions are crippling the lives, and often ending the lives, of ordinary Iranians. Females, as always, are disproportionately affected.

Why have so many GC women unquestioningly embraced these neo-conservative issues/ activists instead of lobbying for say, the young girls kept in cages in Thailand, only let out to have sex with disgusting European men?

Baby girls in Africa, raped because, in some places, sex with a virgin is thought to be a cure for AIDs?

There are so many women, and groups of women, around the world who face horrors daily who could use the help of smart, passionate women like us, but instead the GC movement seems to being hijacked by neo-conservatives and the US-Israel war machine. Who will use us, I guarantee.

It's really disappointing.

One of the inexplicable things about European and other countries following the US off the gender cliff is that some of these countries do not have a big pharmaceutical lobby so why are they destroying a huge % of their own kids' lives with this crap?

In the US, Big Pharma is an extremely powerful lobby. I read that the Democrats especially are indebted to Big Pharma, but I have not verified that claim myself.

An old friend is a prominent LGB activist in one of the most LGB-identified cities in the US. After initially being OK with the rest of the Alphabet because she bought into them gluing themselves to gay rights, she's now fed the F up with the T, Q, etc.

I don't think they're improving, I just think that the chickens have come home to roost.

I think that there have probably been other incidents in California like the Wi Spa incident, but women were too scared or too indoctrinated to call out the bullshit. But once this proud, brave woman called out that the Emperor (literally) had no clothes, it enabled others to see that the real-life effects of gender identity policies are far from benign.

It is so crazy: if someone had told you ten years ago that ten years later a huge % of the Right would believe the Earth was flat you'd have probably started laughing.

And you'd have laughed even harder if they'd added that the entire Left would believe that biological sex was: a spectrum, "assigned" at birth, and/or changeable, with no consistency to even those nutty beliefs.

And not only that, but that people lost jobs and friends for stating biological truths and/or not playing along, which, in some countries and the state of California, could also get them jailed.

I really believe that there is some kind of psy ops involved in all this. Soros funds a good chunk of this - is he trying to just keep the world in chaos? Trans-humanism?

But none of this makes sense, nor does the willingness of people to believe it who you used to think were sane.

The Wi Spa incident in LA was noted way past US borders. On other social media, I saw some California GC feminists were trying to formulate a plan to get California's policies on self-ID repealed.

There's also the woman who filmed the Wi Spa incident. She seems to be getting support from some Christian communities, including a Korean pastor (from what I've seen, the Korean Christians in So Cal have a large presence) and she plans to take the fight up with California politicians.

What the fucking, smarmy morons in the California state legislature don't seem to get is that there's a lot of conservatives in California, especially in immigrant communities, who don't vote.

The issue of any and every man, or any and every group of men, being allowed into women & childrens' spaces is one way to get them out to the polls, but not in the way the corruptos who make up the California Democratic party want.

(Roughly speaking - I am not remembering the exact details) the thread on Ovarit that I was referring to in the OP was about a woman whose relative had died who found a donation envelope (or something) for the Democrats in her deceased relative's belongings.

The Ovarit poster was thinking that maybe she should send the donations envelope back to the Democrats with some kind of note or indication to express her anger over the Democrats' betrayal of women.

I can't remember if she was scared of being doxxed by the Democrats, or if other Ovarit posters were scared the Democrats would doxx her, but my point was that the Democrats have better things to do than to doxx everyone who calls them or writes to them about the women-hating Equality Act and similar slimy gender identity legislation they are passing under the radar.

I completely agree regarding the vile TIMs and their threats to some extent, but at this point, I don't think the Democratic party is going to go after us, nor do I think that the TIMs will bother with Jane Average Gender Critical, given that tens of thousands of conservative Americans express the same negative views daily about gender identity polices.

The ironic thing is that California, the epicenter of the Queer Theory madness (Hello, Judith Butler!) is roiling after the Wi Spa incident protest. So, while Europe adopts California bullshit, California itself might have to roll back the Gender Cult.

The 1st Wi Spa woman is now working with a DC-based, conservative Christian organization in an attempt to gather all sane & moral people to force politicians to repeal laws that allow men to self-identify as women and access women and childrens' spaces.
