The ironic thing is that California, the epicenter of the Queer Theory madness (Hello, Judith Butler!) is roiling after the Wi Spa incident protest. So, while Europe adopts California bullshit, California itself might have to roll back the Gender Cult.

The 1st Wi Spa woman is now working with a DC-based, conservative Christian organization in an attempt to gather all sane & moral people to force politicians to repeal laws that allow men to self-identify as women and access women and childrens' spaces.

It's such a shame that it took so long for ordinary people to wake up to how the laws pushing gender ideology affect their own lives. Now the plague has spread to Europe...

nice that things are improving, maybe in future this ideology will only be an old thought

I don't think they're improving, I just think that the chickens have come home to roost.

I think that there have probably been other incidents in California like the Wi Spa incident, but women were too scared or too indoctrinated to call out the bullshit. But once this proud, brave woman called out that the Emperor (literally) had no clothes, it enabled others to see that the real-life effects of gender identity policies are far from benign.

They need to detach this from religion or it's going to get stuck.

I would normally agree, but gender ideology is the Democrats' new religion, so maybe some good ol' Bible thumping is what's needed to rouse rank-and-file Americans into fighting this madness.

I feel this too. I do not want to be linked to the Church or whatever but the Woke Cult forces all of us to comply and has legal force now. Christianity has 2,000 years of weight behind it. In theory, Christianity can crush Trans Insanity easily. Christian people will "pray for you." The Woke want you dead.

And whereas few politicians will listen to women, many will listen to Christian organizations. I'd rather be surrounded by men who can't understand why I didn't marry a man and have children rather than by men who can't understand what's wrong with penises in the women's changing room.

Pretty sad we've reached this point.

Oh god, I hope so! Do you really think that might've been a wake-up for some people?

I only hope that LGB people aren't used as the scapegoat for all this... please understand the difference between the T movement and the LGB, country.

The Wi Spa incident in LA was noted way past US borders. On other social media, I saw some California GC feminists were trying to formulate a plan to get California's policies on self-ID repealed.

There's also the woman who filmed the Wi Spa incident. She seems to be getting support from some Christian communities, including a Korean pastor (from what I've seen, the Korean Christians in So Cal have a large presence) and she plans to take the fight up with California politicians.

What the fucking, smarmy morons in the California state legislature don't seem to get is that there's a lot of conservatives in California, especially in immigrant communities, who don't vote.

The issue of any and every man, or any and every group of men, being allowed into women & childrens' spaces is one way to get them out to the polls, but not in the way the corruptos who make up the California Democratic party want.

I would say it's not even just California, many people in majority-liberal US states who I have met seem to think that everyone in their state is liberal... the rural/city divide is a real thing. I'm liberal myself, but I'm dismayed at how many of my acquaintances seem to have done no critical thinking about the trans rights movement. And many people I've talked to about it keep quiet out of fear of retaliation from people who are more "woke."

Also that's good to know the event had a wide impact. I worry that the whole event will get framed as religious right vs. trans movement.

But LGB are totally getting the blame. I've been reading through some Christian forums that touch on this, and they all lump LGBT together. They all think T are gay. I keep telling people T are NOT gay. Gay happens in nature. T happens on the internet.

Christians were already against us anyway. I am most worried about the people who are tolerant of gay rights but are starting to question their support for the "LGBTQ+" community and may blame the actions of people in the trans rights movement on LGB people.

It already has infested Europe. In nine countries you can legally declare yourself trans simply by filling out a form. Those nine countries are Denmark (2014), Malta (2015), Ireland (2015), Norway (2016), Greece (2017), Belgium (2018), Portugal (2018), Luxembourg (2018) and Iceland (2020).

The silver lining is that this stupidity is confined to Western Europe, while Eastern European countries are pushing back against this bullshit. Also, even some Western European countries like the UK are beginning to question trans ideology.

BEB 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 2 years ago

The Eastern European countries are a great example of what happens when TQ+ madness gets conflated with LGB. I'm willing to bet that if TQ+ demands hadn't been so outrageous, even Eastern European countries would have eventually come around to LGB rights.

I think so too. But the sad thing is, LGB organisations and supporters in Eastern Europe are too spineless and chicken shit to tell the TQ activists to go away. And then they wonder why nothing is getting done?

I feel that the US is responsible for so much of this Genderology BS and hang my head in shame (even though I had nothing to do with any of it...SIGH...)
