Nice.

Just want to add that saidit's official version of the pyramid of debate has an extra level at the bottom: Advocating violence against individuals or groups.

Yes, it is contrary to the stated goals. Some people just can't be reasoned with. It's the same with Saidit antisemites as with Reddit SJWs, but with the difference that you won't get banned for disagreeing with them.

The top post doesn't say satanic Rabbi, it shows a rabbi speaking what he believes and practices. The top post is a book called this:

It is largwly about Judaism and what Yeshua called the "synagouge of Satan" or those who pretend to be Jews but are not

I don't agree with a lot of it. But it is critiquing Judaism and Jews, which means it is fine to post.

Ah yes, the typical SJW narrative: anyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi. Nice try, nobody believes that here.

Jesus 9 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

Nazi ideology is what? Critiquing Judaism or Israel? Not all Jews are Semitic, all arabs are also semitic which means if any post on /r/Judaism or any other sub is what you call "anti-semitic", it most also be against all arabs including Palestinians.

You are using a misnomer. Anti-Judaic is a better word to use. And guess what, you can be that on saidit or anti-muslim or neither.

There's plenty of "expel all the muslims in America" users on here, which I find despicable. That being said I don't call for their censorship.

AllStr8SexIsRape 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

Anti-zionism is antisemitism and antisemitism is racism. Jews cannot be racist because:

—Jews are people of color, and calling people of color racist is psychological projection by racist whites.

—Racism = power + prejudice. Power requires strength in numbers Jews don't have and goyim do. Therefore only goyim can be racist.

—Arabs are white and therefore racist. Iranians are even whiter and therefore even more racist.

Jesus 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

I know you're being facetious. And if not, you're beainwashed beyond belief. Jews can be very racist to other people, just as a non-Jew can be.

Goyim is a derogatory word.

Crystalmenthol 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

Everybody understands what "anti-semitic" means, it means an attack on Jews or the Jewish faith. Changing the topic to etymology when the word has clearly moved beyond its roots is a transparent attempt to confuse the subject, not a good faith debate tactic.

Is there room to criticize Israel the country? Absolutely. Is there room to openly discuss ancient traditions from all religions, for example which oppress women and exclude outsiders? Sure.

Where it starts to get hairy is when someone asserts that an ancient cabal has been running the world from the shadows for millenia, even though the members of that "cabal" have been systematically oppressed throughout all recorded human history, and were subject to genocide in the past century. Not a very effective shadow-government, if it ever was one.

Jesus 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

No, it doesn't. It means, clearly, being anti-semitic, which means being anti-arab, anti-Palestinian and anti-Jewish if the Jew is semitic, as not all Jews are semitic.

Attack on Jewish faith is anti-Judaic, not anti-Semitic. As a Christian I am anti-Judaic and I am against modern Talmudism Jewish supremacism such as what the Likudniks preach and those who are against Yeshua. That doesn't mean I hate them, I just do not agree with their religion or ethnostate.

Neocons are particularly anti-Semitic.

Changing the topic to etymology when the word has clearly moved beyond its roots is a transparent attempt to confuse the subject, not a good faith debate tactic.

Nope, the modern use of it today, stolen by certain Jews is clearly used the wrong way and an insult on anyone with intelligence.

There's certainly a Jewish mafia as their is an Italian mafia.

Certain Jews have a terrible amount of power and have done terrible things. The common, ordinary Jew is propagandized more than any other person to go along with the Palestinian apartheid based on fear of Pogroms pushed by, most notably, Zionists.

Read Lenni Brenner or Jews against Zionism and you'll see how anti-Semitic many wealthy Zionist Jews really are.

Is Loeb, Schiff, Warburg, Seligman, Guggenheim, Belmont, Rothschild, etc., Jewish? Yes, they are! Who were the people, foreign to the republic, to travel to America and install a centralized, incorporated bank based on permanent public debt? Mostly Frankfurt Jewish bankers, who waited to get their citizenship until after they were successful in the takeover.

Sounds pretty subversive to me!

And funny enough, I'm not blaming Jews as a whole.

Jesus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

I'm not a fan of changing words to mean their opposite or used for something exclusive when the word clearly defines how it is written out.

(Anti) ----- (Semitic)

Arabs are all Semitic

Trump just passed an anti-Semitism bill where he had pedophile Alan Dershowitz speak on his behalf. Now, criticizing Israel or Zionism is anti-Semitic!

That's what happens when you change the meanings of a word via modernism and use it to censor others when it doesn't even mean what you say it does.

Jesus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

Certain Likudnik Jewish terrorists orchestrating 9/11 and blaming it on Arabs is pretty anti-Semitic.

buttermouth 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun 3 years ago

Maybe because there is unspoken truth there? If it keeps coming up country after country, century after century, might there be some truth there? I think many jews are good people but there is a sect called the Sabbetean Frankists that are all about being as evil as they can to bring the end times as soon as they can.

Jesus 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun 3 years ago

Well, Talmud does teach usury on non-Jews.

Many of the first billionaires were Jewish. Jews were great wrh money and banking ans that is particularly why many people in other countries would turn on Jews as a whole rather than a tightly knit of Jewish and non-Jew swindlers.

AllStr8SexIsRape 1 insightful - 4 fun1 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 4 fun 3 years ago

You say interest, I say reparations.

Only Jews should be allowed to have money because goyim will only waste it on frivolous crap.

AllStr8SexIsRape 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun 3 years ago

Crystalmenthol 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

Or maybe human nature is just crap in general, and we've been proving that for centuries. Any cabal that secretly runs the world while still allowing its own people to be systematically oppressed and genocided is a pretty lousy cabal, I wouldn't want to be part of that.

[deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

So why is there so much straight up Nazi ideology here? Like, s/Judaism is literally just antisemetic conspiracies

Classic example of tossing out an epithet instead of addressing the central premise. Would be much better to provide solid examples of the "Nazi ideology" you're critiquing and why it is so unacceptable. I'm not sold at all.

When everyone on your site is here because they were banned for hate speech else theyare going to engage in nonstop hate speech. The world doesn't see a difference between Nazis and TERFS, if anything should open peoples eyes about who is behind all this gender critical stuff, its this nazi filled site. The evangelicals and Nazis propagandize dumbass wealthy boomer white lesbians into spreading division in the queer community. Luckily people are wise to the game and send them off to shitholes like this website. All these hateful assholes can hang out with each other, and people like me will come by top screen cap and show normal people just how shitty TERFS and Nazis and Trump supporters are.

The world doesn't see a difference between Nazis and TERFS, if

Actually most of the UK population agrees with the evil TERFS in not wanting self ID, or allowing random men access to changing rooms and prisons on their own say so.

Because, you know, sex offending. It's already happened here. Several prison incidents plus one TIM tried to rape a little girl in the ladies loo almost as soon as letting them have access became commonplace.

Turns out that we were misled when we were told that transwomen had female brains, female offending behaviour and were mostly post op homosexuals.

Once that lie started to break down the public sympathy started to dry up like your last date when she saw you naked.

Just curious, after all, without a clear definition this is no different than Reddit's "hate speech" rules.

Jesus 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun 3 years ago

Mention /u/magnora7 and he'll delete anyone who incites violence. It is not allowed here.

Hasbara does this a lot. They will flood the place posting about how "Jews should be killed" etc., pretty disgusting so that other companies will pick up these stigmas when saidit gets bigger in order to discredit the site or even evoke laws to censor. Recent anti-Semitism law makes criticizing Israel anti-Semitic so I can only imagine once the government gets full control over the internet which is what many conservatives ironically condone the censorship campaign of conspiracy theorists and dissenters will truly begin.

Jesus 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

No, it should not. Because then any censor could catagorize groups willy nilly for his own censorship agenda.

The first one is inciting violence.

The 2nd isn't threatening someone with violence. It's a saying but is very low on the pyramid of debate.

The last is inciting violence.

These are my opinions though.

That is nonsense. For example, the following is valid dialectic:

First-time 1st-degree murderers often later commit multiple murders, are expensive to house, and have low rehabilitation success. Moreover, a visible prompt death penalty reduces the murder rate by X%. Therefore, 1st degree murders should be promptly and visibly executed.

What you should say instead is that for legal and financial reasons you are unwilling to host calls for violence against people, especially ones that are egregious, inflammatory, or politically incorrect. It has nothing to do with the pyramid of debate.

magnora7 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

That's also true, but that doesn't mean I don't also care about the pyramid of debate. The two are not mutually exclusive.

[deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun 3 years ago

what about comments that aren't disagreeing?

yeah the pyramid doesn't really seem designed to address those. but it can kinda be adapted imo -- did you provide high quality evidence and a clear argument? was your argument ad-hominem, or addressing the information/ideas/topic? did you call anyone an ass hat?

So Name-Calling and Ad hominem attacks are the foundation of how to interact here? Without saying which layers are ok and which not, this doesn't make sense at all... unless this is a cheeky way of saying everything is allowed?

noice 21 insightful - 2 fun21 insightful - 1 fun22 insightful - 2 fun 3 years ago

The lower portions are considered lower quality/value. Maybe a pyramid is not the best representation, since it's associated in the US with the 'food pyramid' where the layers have the meaning you're implying. A ladder might make more intuitive sense that high = good

[deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun 3 years ago

and you attempt to climb a ladder to get higher. I like it.

By who? This is just a picture with several different types of debate. I'd say various styles of debate may be useful for different context. Sometimes "reponding to tone" is better. "Refutation" sometimes gives time and attention to a post that shouldn't be given that much highlight. These are just different styles of managing a debate, not a pyramid from good to bad.
