I'm on the side that thinks that the whole crisis being caused by the US is hype created by the socialists to get away with their crimes. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there's people who are interested in a regime change for their own interests, but the same thing can be said about the current regime. With influence from Russia, China and the rogue nations of the Middle East looting everything they can on the country.
That's why I appreciate anyone who honestly tries to oppose the government. I'm personally torn about the character of Maria Corina. She was one of the leading figures in the 2014 and 2017 protests against the government. Which puts her above any other group in the opposition in my view and did some pretty good criticism against Guaido's recent retarted policies when it comes to facing the government.
One of the most controversial aspects related to Maria Corina is that she is asking the congress to aprove a certain law that permits other military to take action in the nation. She says she isn't doing it for the sake of allowing an actual invasion in the nation, but as a way to help pressure the government in the inside and the outside, with Venezuelans themselves still taking the lead in the revolution.
Could Maria Corina be the honest person she claims to be, or the perfect representative of how the CIA is seeking to influence the nation? perhaps not a Caudillo like in the times of Pinochet or Marcos Perez Jimenez, but still an inmoral authoritarian player? She openly admits being a Catholic and comes from one of the Jesuit universities in the country.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
