An interesting show, of a bygone era when politics of that kind could be discussed openly on prime-time TV, and the serious problem of Archie's America in conflict with the younger generation of the 1970s, as examined by the best Jewish writers of the era. Norman Lear's mother is from Ukraine, and his father from Russia, BTW.

I watched this show as a kid and always thought of Archie as a buffoon (and he was written that way) but today I think he was right about almost everything.
