watched this russian-born stanford professor a long time ago. i have to say he got the 'grandma neuron' part wrong though. see openai clip.

OK - I'll look for the openai clip. He seems to summarize the basic information about chaos theories, but his applicaiton of the theories to biology is interesting (as he's a biologist, it seems)

clip demonstrates that there are ways around it and links to a nytimes article pointing out basically a grandma neuron. and if you look at visualizations for resnet by zhu or the more recent (i believe) visualization by openai lab, you'd see a lot of grandma neurons.
