I love these but I can’t help but assume they’re trust funders. Everything about them, the design of the house, and the people I know personally who do this, trust funders all the way down. It’s tight as fuck though and I want to build one at some point too.

Agreed it's sortof the same thing with tiny houses it looks great and doable until you realise the truth.

"This amazing tiny house with a deck only cost 35000!!"

But they live for free on a huge plot that the parents own. And the dad paid for electric and water lined to the house or the solar panels. And the uncle, whos a contractor, helped built it...etc etc

Yeah it’s like the $35k tiny house with $15k of new furniture in it.
