How about vampires in video games?

Sure that's fine. Like the second rule in the side bar says, only content and discussions that are related to the vampire mythology, the history of vampire lore, and cases of vampirism throughout history.

Vampires in politics (pedogate, banksters, insurance, big pharma, Bill Gates, etc)

No, these topics don't have anything to do with fictional vampires and vampire mythology, which is what this sub is about. Also, the third rule in the side bar clearly states No Politics of any kind, and only certain exceptions will be made. For example, if the story is set in a dystopian future where humans and vampires coexist, then the political structure of that society needs to be explained for better context.

Animals who thrive and feed on blood have vampiric habits and characteristics, but this sub is about sharing content about fictional vampires and their mythology. That said, I'll allow posts about vampiric animals depending on certain circumstances, and I'll especially allow the post if it's about an animal that has a connection to some kind of cultural vampire lore.

Another exception is discussions and content about actual people who believe that they are real-life vampires and who have some sort of blood fetish/psychological obsession with blood. That topic is related to the vampire mythos, even though it's a reality-based topic. Basically, you can post any kind of content that has to do with fictional vampires and the vampire mythology that are from different cultures, time periods and mediums.

I was a vampire in the 4th grade for Hallowe'en. I loved Bram Stoker's Dracula, Queen Of The Damned, and Interview With A Vampire despite their flaws. Dracula 2000 and True Blood were okay at best. I kinda feel like it's all slid downhill since then, though I wish it wouldn't. I think the Tom Cruise Mummy had some great moments (ie. zero-G in a plane) but I see why it flopped, and sadly the Universal Monsters franchise died before it was born. To revive/improve vampire stories they need good narrative structure, compelling characters, and heaps of style (Guillermo del Toro, old Tim Burton, etc).

Yeah, I like horror movies too, especially vampire films, and I definitely agree, if anyone can direct a great vampire movie with a compelling story, It's del Toro and Tim Burton in his prime.
