I like spiders but suddenly being surrounded by hundreds of big spiders would freak me the fuck out.

Yeah, these ones look dangerous for some reason (because of the color?), even though the other article said they are mostly harmless:

In fact, Joros are relatively harmless to people and pets. Joros won’t bite unless cornered. And even if you did manage to somehow annoy a Joro into biting you, its fangs likely wouldn’t be large enough to pierce your skin.
