Theoretically, this is a good idea.
Practically speaking, a disturbingly high proportion of these launches will end in catastrophic failure. Who knows how many will destroy the launching mechanism? Also, none of these projectiles will be manned, as a human can't survive the launch.

Agreed. This thing seems as absurd as the hyperloop.
They stated it wasn't for human consumption.
One of these years I'm gonna finish my story, share it, and maybe blow some minds - or be ridiculed by the many who can't understand it with a few who can.
