They use a lot of simulations and artwork, but there is some real hardware in space.
You can verify some of this via radio-receivers to connect to satellites in space.
And terabites raw unmodified data (per minute) can be downloaded from NASA.

The conversion of raw data (which is like data from an old scanner) towards a reasonable picture can sometimes look fake,
but that is mainly caused by the continuous movements of the clouds, sun, satellites and disturbances in the movements of the satellites and movements in the atmosphere /solar wind.

Then you also have the material coming from other countries like Russia, India and China, etc. You can verify the NASA data with their data.

The things that they got wrong are the models and the simulations that they make on basis of that. They also make everything look more beautiful with bright colors (false colors).

Personally I think they have some more information about UFOs, based on the whistleblowers.

Most of that is sound and I won't disagree.

I wouldn't expect the AAS to reveal too many new secrets about NASA's military ties, X-37b, moon landing, budget scams, Kessler syndrome, climate change, etc. Perhaps there might be some clarification about Hubble and SOFIA.

They're just going to say the blurry tictac is a fly on the inside of the craft out of focus in front of the camera.
