They also post good articles sometimes, so I'm conflicted on this user tbh. They used to have a problem where they'd post articles 2 years out of date, but after requesting they keep to newer articles, they did.

So perhaps we can ask this person to just stop commenting unless it's extremely relevant.

We could request that from everyone in here, but seems a bit unfriendly.

He seems a bit quantity over quality and English might not be his 1st language, even if it's a bit nonsensical at times I don't think he's a bot. Some people tend to ramble, reminds me of the youtuber Lindyeige.

I wrote him as friendly a request as I could.

He's not a bot, but he is using scripts to post. Many of his comments can be googled, and you can find the exact phrasing in scripts on other websites. Only a fraction of them are actually typed by him.

This exact quote is on those pages, and is on his 2nd most-recent comment. Many of his comments are like this. He is clearly copy-pasting scripts. But I don't think it's a bot, I think it's a person. They have responded to my requests before.

I wouldn't mind the copy-pasting if they were just more on-topic more often... oftentimes they're completely unrelated.

I wasn't aware of that... I just assumed english wasn't his native language and he might ramble a bit.

Have u considered disabling karma accumulation on saidit? That could discourage karma whores and people who try to monetize karma, leaving people that post because they believe their content is meaningful.

I don't think accumulation of karma is their goal, I think they're honestly just trying to help fill out saidit but kind of overdoing it. Interesting idea though
