I had taken the sounds of home for granted. My grandmother’s bellows from across the apartment, my friends screaming my name from the street below my window. The garbage trucks, the car alarms, the fireworks set off nowhere near the Fourth of July.
Yeah, that's called "gunfire" and I don't think Columbia, Yale, and Brown are missing out on anything good here

I was just telling my wife yesterday how I hear much less BOOM BOOM Dodge Charger bullshit around our neighborhood since housing costs went up. Just gotta clean up the hookers by the interstate and raze the 1970s-vintage apartments and we'll be all set.
