According to the communists of the era, even homosexuals were fascists. Not to mention that Stalinists discovered many "fascists" among the members of their party as well. In any case, National Socialism is not Fascism. And in the case of Italian Fascism, its origins were in the communist cycles and it wasn't as much about nationalism as for state and unionism.
