Good luck. I live in a swing state, am friendly to LGB rights (within reasonable limits), and still voting for Trump.

Did you support anti LGBT justices? Trump did.

Did you support the legalization of workplace discrimination against gay employees? The Trump administration did

Do you think transgender people should be able to serve in the military? Trump banned them.

Do you support Obama era non-discrimination protections? Trump rolled them back.

Do you think federal contractors should be able to fire people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity? Trump allowed them to do that.

The list goes on and on.

and still voting for Trump.

Clearly not for his policies on LGBTQ matters then. What convinced you to vote for the rapist, who is too old to stay awake in court?

Allow me to clarify. First, I am a gay man, legally married to another man for over a decade.

However, there are many other issues that are more important to me, especially when the major lgbT issues on the table right now concern intrusive demands I don’t believe in. Especially those of trans people.

I am more concerned about the widening economic gap between rich and poor, concentration of wealth and value in fewer hands, the centralization of control of almost everything that matters, unchecked immigration, and the right of the common man or woman to be left alone: whether you’re gay or straight, or even a straight person who doesn’t want to be around gay people.

Yeah, sure, Trump isn’t great. But Biden is a dumpster fire. Either way our country is going to collapse, but it will collapse faster under Biden. Maybe that’s a reason to vote for him, just so we can get it over with more quickly.

immigration has been increasing since the 1970s. But certainly Trump has separated parents and children at the border to discourage illegals and asylees.
