Allow me to clarify.

Go ahead.

First, I am a gay man, legally married to another man for over a decade.

Great. Is antidiscrimination legislation supporting gay men married to other gay men for over a decade not important to you?

However, there are many other issues that are more important to me, especially when the major lgbT issues on the table right now concern intrusive demands I don’t believe in.

You don't care about being sacked for being gay?

Why not?

I am more concerned about the widening economic gap between rich and poor

Another reason not to vote for Trump.

concentration of wealth and value in fewer hands

A third reason not to vote for Trump.

the centralization of control of almost everything that matters

A fourth reason not to vote for Trump.

unchecked immigration

immigration has been increasing since the 1970s. But certainly Trump has separated parents and children at the border to discourage illegals and asylees.

If you're devoid of empathy, perhaps that some comfort to you. But that doesn't speak very highly of your character.

and the right of the common man or woman to be left alone

Okay, you've lost me here. What are we talking about?

whether you’re gay or straight, or even a straight person who doesn’t want to be around gay people.

Strange view for a gay man. Why don't you say "even a gay person who doesn't want to be around straight people"?

Yeah, sure, Trump isn’t great.

Indeed. As far from it as the US has seen in my lifetime.

But Biden is a dumpster fire.

In what way? Supporting gay rights?

Either way our country is going to collapse, but it will collapse faster under Biden.

That's ridiculous. Trump tried to overthrow the democracy last time. You can't collapse it faster than that.

Have you or your husband ever experienced discrimination at work?

Well, they don't let us have sex in the Senate hearing room anymore.

You think we have a case for a discrimination lawsuit?

Well, they don't let us have sex in the Senate hearing room anymore.

Surely that depends on who's in the security room.

You think we have a case for a discrimination lawsuit?

I don't know. You'll need information on how much het sex there is going on there.

he doesn’t actually have a husband. he’s a disinformation agent, just like you.

he doesn’t actually have a husband. he’s a disinformation agent,

I'm suspecting that.

Do you know for certain?

just like you.

I wonder why you mistake my interest in facts and reality for disinformation.

What topics of my posts and comments do you claim are "disinformation"?

Possibly/probably. But I don’t expect the state to step in and defend me because I’m not a little bitch.

Actually, the most harrowing experience I’ve had at work is having one of my black, female direct reports try to get me fired for racism. It had nothing to do with my being gay and everything to do with my being white. I wasn’t racist then (actually, at first, I was enthusiastically supportive of her). But I sure am now.

Possibly/probably

What do you suspect occurred?

Do you hide your sexuality at work?

But I don’t expect the state to step in and defend me because I’m not a little bitch.

Are laws against behaviour the state stepping in to defend people?

Are there differences in laws against say murder and discrimination in terms of whether they represent the state stepping in to defend people?

Do you support Trump's tax breaks for the ultra rich?
