I mean, isn't that pretty much what the majority of presidents have done since 1933. Roosevelt and Reagan especially really shook things up and created excessive executive powers. Then in the 21st century the parties are so divided that every time a new party wins their first objective is to undo whatever the previous administration has put in place.

This is both true enough to be inevitable, but also fear mongering and presented as if it's something more unique and significant than it is.

I didn't vote Trump, and I wont this election either (if it's Biden v Trump I'll just abstain or write in someone else). But the Trump fear mongering is really rediculous at best. At worse they are creating thr very scenario they are worrying about.
