There is only speculation about who the builders were and when it was built. What is certain is that whoever built it was of a civilization more advanced than the earth's present one. No, I did not say aliens.

There is only speculation about who the builders were and when it was built.

The Facial features on the more ancient (and also detailed) busts, and artifacts have wider flattened noses, which is more similar in characteristics to African facial features.

These statues have noses/chins that are often smashed or damaged.. The heavily damaged faces typically have typical African cheek structure, chin shape, mouth shape, eye spacing, and eye shape.
However enough still remain intact, and it's obvious when you know what to look for (see the link above and decide for yourself).

The less detailed artifacts were created in more recent times.
These artifacts have facial features which most would identify with middle eastern facial characteristics.
These are generally less sophisticated in their form, and are also created from softer materials.

The older artifacts are cratered from harder stone.

It's worth pointing out that the sphinx nose has also been destroyed. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sphinx+face&t=brave&iax=images&ia=images

If you look carefully, then you'll find similar African features (cheek structure, eye spacing/shape, etc.).

Whoever recarved the sphinx face, didn't carve the original body. It's been reworked, and a large amount of material was removed to create what we recognize. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sphinx+body&t=brave&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images

The body is incredibly weathered. It would take tens of thousands of years of water erosion to naturally wear the stone in this way. The erosion patterns are clearly created by water, and not wind.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sphinx+erosion+hypothesis&t=brave&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images

Don't take my word for it. Examine the images, and evidence, and decide for yourself.

the historical revisionist would have people believe that were living in the first iteration of human civilization. This is demonstrably false.

Mankind has survived multiple catastrophic disasters, which have literally reset civilization to near zero.

The civilization who created the pyramids did not ride horse-drawn chariots with wooden wheels.

Edit: Also, I am well aware of the fact that my friend /u/chottohen is well aware of what I've just pointed out.

No, I did not say aliens.

Strong agreement on this statement.

Yes, I agree. Every 12,000 years, the Sun explodes in a micro-nova, the Earth's crust flips 90 degrees and the magnetic poles flip. The destination of the poles this time around are near the Philippines for the North, and just West of Ecuador for the South. The 90 degree tilt means that the atmosphere and oceans continue on their 1,000 mph travels, creating incredbile tsunamis and storms. Then the micro-nova ejecta coalesce into asteroids that bombard the surface. Each and every time, >99% of the lifeforms on this globe die off.

This is the truth that is hidden by the fake archaeology of today.

the Sun explodes in a micro-nova

What is this shit? You know comic books aren't real, right?

The body of science on this is utterly unequivocal. We're not talking about a few clues here. We're talking proof of this from many, many fields. OF COURSE the powers that shouldn't be are hiding it from us. You think what? The guvmints are going to tell you, "Oh yeah, in 25 years the Sun will explode and end the world." Right? No. They're not going to tell you that. Most people are dumb enough to react the way you do: outright denial without a HINT of research on the topic. It's OK, I understand: small minds are easily threatened.

How about telling what some of this proof is then?

Let this be your starting point. This channel goes DAILY into studies in the various fields related to this upcoming event. You can then go in the links below their videos and read the studies yourself. But as a first overview, as there is a lot of material to absorb, start with their longer videos. Here is the absolute shortest possible summarization of it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEv3HRIVPUQ

You haven't got something in written words instead of a video? I'm not a child of MTV with a two second attention span but I hate these fucking videos, you have to spend five minutes listening to some doofus drone on and on to get the same information that you can read in 30 seconds.

Sigh, okay. Let's see now... "Chemical changes on the sun" -- 😄 😄 😃 🙄

Oh jeez, is that all? The Carrington event and the changes to the earth's magnetic field? 20% actual fact, 50% worst case exaggeration, 10% survivalist fantasy, and 20% bullshit eschatology. And its not a "mini-nova".

Why is it that when actual science backed up with facts says we're raising global temperatures and changing the climate, people are all "LOL nah it was cold last winter so its a hoax bro" but when some rando makes up 80% bullshit with a few scientific terms they're all "man this is so true watch this video it will change your life"?

[–]Alphix 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

OK dude I give you the ultra-condensed and you come back at me with "is that all?"

This proves only one thing: YOU ARE FUCKING MORON.

Therefore, the only logical action is to add you to my blocked list. Good riddance.

I am. Between the conclusion of '1984' and the 4th Horseman being the Sun exploding, I'll take 4th horseman. Remember, it's every 12,000 years, so 8 times every 100k ... The human race in multiple forms has been through this shit 80 times already. Descendents of survivors, themselves descendents of survivors, 80 times over.

You amaze me Tom. While we're on this subject we should mention The Eye of Africa. Just type > images eye of africa < into your search box. It's also known as the Richat Structure and other names and is in Mauritania. Some geologists say it is natural but others believe it was made millions of years ago by humans. It was not even known by our present civilization until it showed up on satellite photos. It's about 50 km wide so you could walk across it and not know it was there. It's is 2:40 am here so time for bed. Why even mention this? If it is manmade then it may be related to the Egyptians. Take some of the text on the Eye with a grain of salt. G'night.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Some geologists say it is natural but others believe it was made millions of years ago by humans.

It's crazy huge. Insanely large.

One article indicated the features were anticline ridges (and I had to look that up).

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anticline

The higher ridges are older rock, so something had to force the material up from below to form these ripples with older rock at the peaks.

And these folds are concentric from below.

https://www.tsiosophy.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Worldmap_LandAndPolitical.jpg

I pulled up a map of the globe to see where this formed relative to the magnetic poles.

I wouldn't be surprised if this feature is directly above a pivot point where the magnetic poles flip, or some similar location where the forces of the poles flipping are concentrated through the axis of this feature.
Pure speculation, but something massive had to cause this, and that could qualify.

It would be interesting to find the location opposite the globe of this feature (probably under the ocean) and to see if a similar one exists there, as well.

Stone Masons of Jewish people and lots of Egyptian whips.

[–]chottohen 6 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 4 fun -  (2 children)

The Jews would like you to believe that they built it but there is not a shred of evidence to support that belief. Have you read any of Graham Hancock on the Pyramids? Most academics poo-poo his work but most of them do not have a clue. The biggest crane made today could not lift even one of those stones.

[–]jet199 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is all bullshit

[–]weavilsatemyface 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The biggest crane made today could not lift even one of those stones.

Utter bullshit. The average stone block in the pyramids are just 1.5 tonnes, about the weight of a medium sized car. The largest granite blocks are up to 80 tonnes. Modern cranes can lift up to 60 thousand tonnes.

Not that the Egyptians used cranes. They used ramps and lever systems.

[–]weavilsatemyface 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Really no.

The Israelites were never slaves in Egypt, the whole story of Moses freeing the slaves is 100% bullshit, and even the labourers who built the pyramids were free men who sometimes went on strike if their pay was late.

[–]weavilsatemyface 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

What is certain is that whoever built it was of a civilization more advanced than the earth's present one.

That's incorrect. We know that they didn't need advanced technology. They were built with ancient technology: levers, rollers, copper (and later bronze) tools, and lots of muscle. But not as much as you might think. Even the Great Pyramid of Giza could have been built in less than ten years with a relatively small workforce of 5,000 full time workers and a few tens of thousands of part-time workers.

And no, the majority of workers were not slaves. Many were skilled tradesmen, and even the laborers were free men, either working for wages or providing labour in lieu of taxes. Sometimes they even went on strike.

The pyramids of Egypt and Kush (modern day northern Sudan) were built over a period of 2000 years, and we can see the evolution of pyramid technology from mere dirt burial mounds to the outstanding work of engineering that is the Great Pyramid of Giza. Before the pyramids, kings were buried in stone mastabas, rectangular stone buildings that are much easier to construct. From there they developed step pyramids, before the invention of the pyramid shape we know today.

We can see their engineering mistakes: the Bent Pyramid was too steep to be stable, so halfway up they had to reduce the angle of the walls to stop it collapsing. The older pyramids were made of solid stone, but the younger ones are cheaper, using mudbrick for the internal construction and stone only for the outside.

Only the outside stones were cut carefully to fit together neatly. Inside stones were rough-cut, and the gaps filled with rubble and mortar. There is also some evidence that some of the blocks may even have been a form of artificial concrete-like stone, although most archeologists doubt this.

As far as the construction methods go, modern experiments prove that a small pyramid 6 metres high can be constructed in under a month using only 60 or so workers. Some shortcuts were used but the stones were carved and placed my muscle power and hand-tools alone, no electricity or modern technology needed. The blocks of stone used were 2.2 tonnes each. Just 12-20 men can tow a 2 tonne stone block. Other experiments show that just 45 men can move a 16 tonne block of stone on rollers.

As far as transport goes, when the pyramids were built, the Nile river was higher and there was a now dried out branch of the river that went to the Giza area. Transporting stone on water barges is easy with 4000 year old technology.

Its only soft, privileged modern-day weaklings who think that the pyramids had to be made using advanced technology. People in the past had no problem with using lots of muscle power and hard yakka in construction.

Good question. There was a choice between a highly advanced technology or lots of slaves and the slave theory won out it seems. I agree that there are some silly comments in this thread but overall I think it is interesting. I go with the advanced technology theory myself. Göbekli Tepe was apparently built soon after the end of the last ice age, about 13,000 BP and it shows that the builders knew much about astronomy and related science. Was Göbekli Tepe built as a warning that a horrific event would happen again. The structure seems to indicate that the event will begin during this century. Deep Underground Bunkers would be one possible way of surviving such an event. A flood, that is in the legends of easily over a hundred cultures worlwide, besides the Bible and the Gilgamesh Legend, would likely result when the polar ice caps melt. Even I admit that this is wild speculation but possinly some governments and "elites" have been told of an impending world disaster. If that is true, it would explain why so many CEOs quit their jobs a few years ago and why so many, who can afford it, are building their own bunkers.

From a science show on cable many years ago I remember an image capture of the DNA test results Zahi Hawass was holding. He refused to talk about the results but the synopsis was visible and legible. There were DNA tests of a few of the Pharaohs and their family. The closest DNA match (70%) is in Anatolia (Turkey). Scotland was a 40% match surprisingly.

Here is a link to a Nature article on the DNA research so far. https://www.nature.com/articles/546017a

The tombs of ancient Egypt have yielded golden collars and ivory bracelets, but another treasure — human DNA — has proved elusive. Now, scientists have captured sweeping genomic information from Egyptian mummies. It reveals that mummies were closely related to ancient Middle Easterners, hinting that northern Africans might have different genetic roots from people south of the Sahara desert.

The study, published on 30 May in Nature Communications1, includes data from 90 mummies buried between 1380 BC, during Egypt’s New Kingdom, and AD 425, in the Roman era. The findings show that the mummies’ closest kin were ancient farmers from a region that includes present-day Israel and Jordan. Modern Egyptians, by contrast, have inherited more of their DNA from central Africans.
