If by 'we', you mean the American people, you have nothing to gain. The wars are about taking your taxes and giving them to arms manufacturers. They don't consider you their equals.
The whole thought of government agencies just starting wars to sell weapons seems low effort at first....it's a common self-gaslighting trap to get stuck in to focus on speculated motivations being applied to large groups as a whole, rather than actions and specifics...
... but then you recall the 10 year old Ukraine-Russo war and it's specific weapons were very heavily and overtly advertised by US media and that marketing push was very timely, as began just in time to sink in before the big war weapons exposition, which was hosted in India this time.

One of the reasons intel agencies exist is to find or start wars anywhere in the world and then sell weapons to whichever side wants them. They do not care who wins or loses.
