He literally spoke out against the jews at the time. Although, he didn't attack them for being jews [bloodline], he attacked them for being jews [judaism]. Judaism perverted the old testament teachings and that basically perverted what God was and what Jesus was. But I guess you are right, they were sinners. But he specifically singled out the people inside the jewish [judaism] synagogues.

It's interesting that they gave Jesus a gun. With some little scrutiny you can clearly see he didn't mind weapons. He greatly cared about their misuse though. And further, he never carried or needed one because he could just angel laser every one to death at any time. And he said so himself.

Matthew 22:36-40
