Boy glad that's settled. Guess I was wrong. Shucks. Let's go mutilate some children. It's the right thing to do.

We have a person with a mental disorder, gender dysphoria, in a power position (at the HHS, no less) to push its normalization. Settled. If you don't like it, the Ministry of Disinformation will make sure you don't say anything about it.

I said the same thing on the Fox News comments. That place is great if you want to be able to amplify your voice without being some kind of power user influencer. Some of the people are a little brainless tho, spouting their party line like robots.

Ministry of Disinformation

Some 1984 dystopian bullshit. Who thought that was a good idea? And CNN is very hush hush on it. Not sure liberals are even hearing about it.

I can't figure that on out, either. Maybe there is a HUGE disconnect between the White House and the people in this age of anonymous internet constituents.

A few people here tend to be news junkies, but not everyone is like that. My father, for instance, had brought up the "don't say gay" bill as a ridiculous piece of bigotry by the Republicans. I explained what the bill was actually about and he said oh well, in that case I don't want them teaching kindergarten kids about sex either. He doesn't really follow the news closely, the media has a lot of control over what he thinks of things.

Had EXACTLY the same experience with my parents. They read the NYT every day and watch MSNBC, and didn't know any better until I straightened them out on the facts of the 'Don't Say Gay' and Transgender Minor stuff. They immediately changed their position as well. The dems arent all 'groomers' they just live in a bubble

I guess the reason, then, is that the alternative news sources popped up to combat the propaganda and now the powers-that-be want to suppress them. I can't see it working. From where I sit, the pendulum is making its way back around.

No they are definitely hearing about it. They are quiet because they know it’s on their side (for now) so they have no issue with it.

Do you watch their news? If a person only watched CNN they would have no idea about certain topics. They aren't even covering this whole "ministry of truth."

I don’t limit myself to one news source so I’m sure I have seen how their side is covering it. They don’t use the “ministry of truth” words but they champion the department in shutting down “misinformation” which to them means anything conservatives say that they don’t agree with. It’s up to the viewer to decide if that’s good or bad but when you’re too stupid to look at things objectively and not take them at face value you will allow the media to tell you what to think and that is what’s happening.
